UNITED OILFIELD ENGINEERING & TRADING PTE. LTD. is seeking a skilled CNC turning technician in Singapore.

You will program, set up, and operate Fanuc-controlled turning machines to produce components according to drawings while ensuring quality and efficiency in manufacturing. The role requires hands-on experience with CNC Fanuc turning, blueprint interpretation, tooling selection, and a background in oil and gas manufacturing environments.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.
Hands-on experience programming and setting CNC Fanuc Control (turning) machines.
Proficient in programming and setting CNC turning machines.
Skilled in performing various threading types including ACME, STUB ACME, and buttress.
Experience working in oil and gas industry manufacturing environments.

Responsibilities

Program CNC turning machines using Fanuc Control to meet design specifications.
Interpret technical blueprints and drawings to understand part requirements.
Set up CNC machines, selecting appropriate cutting tools and materials for production.
Adjust machine settings to optimize output while maintaining product quality.
Measure and inspect finished parts using micrometers, height gauges, and calipers to verify conformance to specifications.
Maintain detailed records of processes and tool usage.
Follow safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
Collaborate with engineers or designers to customize jobs and improve manufacturing processes.
