Job summary

MSIG Singapore is seeking a proactive telesales professional to promote personal insurance products and maintain accurate customer records. You will handle calls, ensure data confidentiality, and support the telemarketing team while adhering to underwriting guidelines.

The role requires solid insurance product knowledge, strong communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment at MSIG Insurance (Singapore) Pte Ltd.

Qualifications

• Telesales experience in insurance products and telemarketing operations.
• Good product knowledge of GI personal lines products.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with confident demeanour.

Responsibilities

• Perform outbound telesales calls to market and sell Company's personal insurance products.
• Create and maintain proper customer information, calls and sales records.
• Perform any after-call functions to complete the cycle of the call.
• Answer telephone calls and direct queries to Customer Service when needed.
• Ensure confidentiality of data as required by the Company and regulatory bodies.
• Ensure business aligns with underwriting guidelines and audit requirements.
• Provide feedback to improve telemarketing programmes.
• Deputise as Team Leader in the absence of the Telemarketing manager.
• Undertake other duties as assigned.

Education

GCE 'O' level preferably with professional insurance qualification

Certificate in General Insurance (BCP/PGI) and HI

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform outbound telesales calls to market and sell Company's personal insurance products
• Create and maintain proper customer information, calls and sales records
• Perform any after call functions to complete the cycle of the call
• Answer telephone calls, attend to telephone queries from customers and direct such calls to Customer Service where necessary
• Ensure confidentiality of data in the manner and to the extent required by the Company and/or the Bank
• Ensures business handled is in line with the Company's underwriting guidelines and comply with all law, regulatory and audit requirements
• Provide feedback and suggestions on programmes handled to improve and/or enhance existing and future telemarketing programmes
• Deputise as Team Leader in the absence of the Telemarketing manager
• Undertake any other duties as may be assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

• Certificate in General Insurance (BCP/PGI) and HI
