Singapore Manufacturing Federation seeks an Executive to support standards-related programmes in a dynamic environment. The role focuses on project coordination, secretariat support, stakeholder engagement and event management under the Standards Development Organisation framework.

We are seeking a proactive and well-organised Executive to support standards-related programmes in a dynamic and collaborative environment. This role focuses on project coordination, secretariat support, stakeholder engagement and event management under Standards Development Organisation (SDO) - Safety / Manufacturing.
Candidates with exposure to administration, coordination, events, safety, manufacturing, engineering, or technical environments will be advantageous.
Project Coordination
Coordinate and support standards development projects under the National Standardisation Programme administered by Enterprise Singapore.
Provide administrative and secretariat support to Technical Committees and Working Groups, including preparation of meeting agendas, minutes, reports, and project documentation.
Stakeholder Engagement
Collaborate with stakeholders from industry, academia, and government agencies to support standards-related activities, including development, review, confirmation, withdrawal, and promotion of Singapore Standards and Technical References, through coordination of meetings and discussions, gathering of inputs and feedback, and identifying issues, gaps, or opportunities for follow-up where necessary.
Handle inquiries and correspondence relating to standards within the assigned portfolio in a timely and professional manner.
Event Management
Assist in organising standards launch events and outreach activities aimed at supporting public adoption and awareness of standards, including coordination of logistics and on-site event execution.
Research Works (Ad-hoc as needed)
Do basic research works related to industry and technical topics to support the development and review of standards, including identifying potential users and applications of the standards.
Diploma or Degree in any discipline.
Prior experience in administration, project coordination, secretariat support, event management, or stakeholder engagement will be advantageous.
Self-motivated and able to manage tasks independently while working effectively in a team.
Meticulous and well organised, with the ability to work effectively in a diverse environment and manage time efficiently in fast paced settings.
Good interpersonal skills with the ability to engage and work with different stakeholders.
Good written and communication skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and other common productivity tools.
