Job summary

Key duties include sourcing, purchase order issuance, expediting critical components, and ensuring compliance with contractual terms. Strong negotiation and analytical skills are essential to succeed in a fast-paced aerospace environment.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics Management, or related discipline (or equivalent practical experience).
• 2 to 5 years hands-on procurement experience; aerospace or aviation industry preferred.
• Experience in sourcing, RFQs, vendor negotiation, and PO issuance per policies.

Responsibilities

• Sourcing & Purchasing: Issue RFQs, evaluate vendor quotations, negotiate pricing, generate POs per policy.
• Operations & Expediting: Track orders, optimize shipping, expedite critical components to avoid delays.
• Financial & Contractual Compliance: Verify invoices, resolve discrepancies, ensure alignment with contracts.
• Stakeholder Management: Build strong relationships with internal partners to meet KPIs.
• Cost Optimization & Reporting: Identify savings opportunities and generate procurement analytics.

About the Role

Are you a driven procurement professional looking to make a direct impact in the dynamic aviation industry?

As aProcurement Executive, you will oversee direct procurement activities across various ST Engineering Aerospace Lines of Business (LoBs). You will play a mission-critical role in managing supplier relationships, optimizing supply chains, securing cost savings, and ensuring seamless operations to prevent Aircraft On Ground (AOG) situations.

Key Responsibilities

• Sourcing & Purchasing:Issue RFQs, evaluate vendor quotations, negotiate competitive pricing, and generate purchase orders (POs) in strict adherence to company procurement policies.

• Operations & Expediting:Track orders, optimize shipping methods, and proactively expedite critical components to mitigate supply chain risks and avoid AOG occurrences.

• Financial & Contractual Compliance:Conduct invoice verifications, resolve discrepancies with internal stakeholders, and ensure all deliverables align with contractual agreements.

• Stakeholder Management:Build strong, collaborative relationships with internal business partners to consistently meet and exceed target KPIs.

• Cost Optimization & Reporting:Actively identify cost-saving opportunities, track savings performance, and generate insightful procurement analytics/reports.

Qualifications & Requirements

Education & Experience

• Education:Diploma or Degreein Supply Chain, Logistics Management, or a related discipline (or equivalent practical experience). Professional certifications in Procurement/Supply Chain are a plus.

• Experience:2 to 5 yearsof hands‑on procurement experience. Prior purchasing experience within the aerospace or aviation industry is strongly preferred.

Technical Skills & Competencies

• Systems:Proficiency or prior experience withSAPis highly advantageous.

• Commercial Acumen:Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills with a keen business mindset.
