Job summary

DEFENCE COLLECTIVE SINGAPORE LTD. seeks a Diploma holder to join our IT team for a six-month engagement, focusing on administration and maintenance of servers, storage, networks, VMware, AD and backups.

You will contribute to reliable operations and security across the company’s infrastructure. You will assist patch management, firewall administration, monitoring and compliance activities, enabling timely issue resolution and aiding project delivery in a lean team.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Information Technology with a focus on computer networking.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work independently and collaboratively.
• Proactive, responsible and willing to learn new technologies.

Job description

THE ENGAGEMENT PERIOD IS FOR A PERIOD OF 6 MONTHS.

Job Responsibilities

• Support the administration and maintenance of critical IT infrastructure, including servers, storage, networks, VMware, Active Directory and backup systems, which includes company-wide LAN system and devices
• Strengthen cybersecurity operations through patch management, firewall administration, system monitoring and compliance activities
• Ensure system reliability, business continuity, timely resolution of infrastructure issues and adequate support for project implementation, thereby augmenting the lean team to achieve project delivery

Job Requirements

• Diploma in Information Technology with a focus on computer networking, or a related discipline
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
