Job summary

TÜV SÜD PSB Pte. Ltd. in Singapore invites an experienced Aerospace Inspector to ensure aerostructures, systems and components meet safety and quality standards. You will perform inspections, interpret codes, conduct NDT as required, and prepare detailed reports.

The role requires a Bachelor’s or Diploma in Aeronautical/Mechanical Engineering, at least 5 years in aerospace inspection, and NAS 410 Level 2 MT certification with additional NDT methods. Hybrid work arrangement offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree/ Diploma in Aeronautical/ Mechanical Engineering or related disciplines.
• Min. 5 years of experience as Aerospace Inspector.
• Certified NAS 410 Level 2 MT and M10 mandatory with other NDT techniques.
• Meticulous with excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Able to build rapport with stakeholders in a multicultural environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform internal and external inspections to ensure acceptance criteria are met.
• Interpret regulations, codes and industry standards.
• Perform NDT as required by job assignment.
• Maintain equipment to ensure it is in good working condition.
• Recommend, approve repairs and perform visual inspection of completed work.
• Compose detailed inspection reports and maintain documentation.
• Submit daily reports, inspection reports, and inter-office communications on time.
• Maintain positive relationships among clients, facility and coworkers.
• Provide training and guidance to junior inspectors.
• Complete all required training, including tests within guidelines.
• Prepare risk assessments before commencement of work and ensure safety policies are followed.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform internal and external inspections to ensure that the acceptance criteria of a specific code, standard or document are met
• Interpret regulations, codes and industry standards
• Perform NDT as required by job assignment
• Maintain equipment assigned to ensure that it is in good working condition

• Compile and submit daily reports, inspection reports, and inter-office communications in timely manner

• Prepare risk assessment before commencement of work and ensure that all safety policies and procedures are strictly adhered to

Key Requirement

• Bachelor’s Degree/ Diploma in Aeronautical/ Mechanical Engineering or related disciplines
• Min. 5 years of experience as Aerospace Inspector
• Certified NAS 410 Level 2 MT and M10 mandatory with any other 2 testing techniques (i.e. PT/ ET/ UT)
• Meticulous, excellent communication and organizational skills
• Able to build good rapport with all stakeholders
