Job summary

KTP CONSULTANTS PTE LTD in Singapore seeks a Civil/Structural Engineer to plan, design and supervise engineering works across buildings, roads and utilities. You will perform analyses, review drawings, and ensure compliance with local codes and standards.

Ideal candidates hold a recognized Civil/Structural degree and have BIM experience with project management exposure. Prior structural project experience is preferred, and familiarity with Eurocode and regulatory submissions is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering recognized by local authority.
• Working experience in structural projects is preferred.
• Familiarity with local codes, Eurocode and regulatory requirements.

Job description

Responsibilities:

• Plan, design and supervise C&S engineering works (e.g. buildings, roads, drains, sewers, earthworks, underground buildings, temporary structures).
• Perform analysis and design for the project.
• Supervise the drafting of drawings related to design.
• Ensure all engineering works comply with relevant statutory standards, regulations and Codes of Practice.
• Manage project stakeholders, clients, design team, site team and other relevant parties.
• Coordinate with contractors, project team and design consultants.

Requirements:

• Possess a Civil and Structural Engineering degree recognized by the Professional Engineers Board of Singapore.
• Prior working experiences in structural engineering projects preferred.
• Familiar with structural engineering design to local Codes, Regulations and requirements,and Eurocode.
• Well verse in structural design software, e.g. ETABS, STAAD Pro, SAFE, SAP 2000, MIDAS, etc.
• Familiar with authority submission requirements for civil-structural works.
• Experience in design/project management works in BIM.
• Conversant with statutory code and requirements for site supervision, quality control procedure and construction administration.
