The Japan Research Institute, Limited (Singapore Branch) seeks an Executive Director - Relationship Manager to lead high-net-worth client relationships in North Asia, focusing on Tier 1 clientele and aligning with SMBC Private Wealth strategic priorities.

You will leverage the SMBC Group network across Taiwan and Hong Kong, collaborate with corporate, commercial, and investment banking teams, and guide a growing coverage team while delivering exceptional client experiences.

Qualifications

• 12–15 years of relevant experience in relationship management or banking.
• Proven leadership with ability to deliver client value and drive growth.
• Fluent in English and Mandarin with strong stakeholder communication.
• Proactive, team‑oriented mindset and adaptability to cultures.
• Willingness to learn internal bank regulations and processes.

Responsibilities

• Origination and onboarding of new relationships within North Asia.
• Leverage SMBC Group network to convert clients and increase wallet share.
• Collaborate with corporate, commercial and IB teams to grow cross-sell.
• Lead and develop a dedicated North Asia coverage team and drive performance.
