Job summary

Methodist Welfare Services in Singapore seeks an Executive – Community Care to support active ageing services for seniors in the community. The role blends operational duties (70%) with a specialist focus (30%), aligned to CCSSF for Active Ageing Centres.

You will manage program planning, outreach, and centre operations, supervise documentation, and coordinate with partners and volunteers to deliver high‑quality care and ensure MOH KPI compliance. Weekend work may be required.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Community Services, Social Work, Healthcare, Psychology, Counselling, Business Administration, Sports Therapy, or related fields.
• 1-2 years' experience in a relevant field; experience in social service sector will be an advantage.
• Fresh graduates with passion for serving seniors are welcome to apply.
• Willing to travel to different AAC locations when necessary.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, implementing, and evaluating active ageing programs.
• Support on-site and satellite activities for seniors.
• Participate in outreach events and community engagement initiatives.
• Collaborate with community partners to organize programs and events.
• Conduct door-to-door outreach with Community Screener assessments.
• Maintain documentation for audits and compliance requirements.
• Assist in data collection and reporting for MOH and AIC submissions.
• Support general office administration including attendance tracking and record-keeping.
• Contribute to achieving service requirements and meeting MOH KPIs.
• Ensure compliance with SOPs at all times.
• Assist with audit requirements and documentation.
• Answer phone calls and manage walk-in inquiries professionally.
• Assist with procurement and inventory management for the centre.
• Support facilities management and maintenance coordination.
• Help coordinate centre-based activities and events.
• Provide backup support to colleagues during leave periods or high-demand periods.
• Assist in cross-departmental projects and initiatives.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to centre-wide improvement efforts.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Centre Manager.
• Manage one specialist focus area: Case Management, Volunteer Management, or Wellness Program.
