Job summary

SNM CAFE PTE. LTD. is seeking an Executive Chef to lead the kitchen, ensuring innovative cuisine of the highest quality, with outstanding presentation and guest satisfaction across dining rooms, banquets and related facilities.

You will oversee daily operations, control costs and wastage, enforce hygiene standards, train and motivate staff, and partner with purchasing to ensure consistent quality in a fast-paced hotel environment.

Responsibilities

Trains, develops and motivates supervisors and culinary staff to meet established food preparation standards on a consistent basis.
Teaches preparation according to well defined recipes and follows up on improving cuisine.
Provides leadership by creating a positive work environment and professional management.
Directs all day-to-day kitchen operations.
Understands employee roles to cover duties during absences or arrange replacements.
Guides and monitors subordinates, setting performance standards.
Uses interpersonal and communication skills to lead kitchen staff.
Advocates sound financial decisions, upholds honesty and integrity, leads by example.
Delivers service behaviors above and beyond to ensure guest satisfaction.
Communicates guest needs and provides coaching to staff.
Delegates to develop supervisors and subordinates to meet goals.
Reviews staffing to meet guest service, operational, and financial objectives.
Involves in menu development and maintains accurate costing of dishes.
