Job summary

FairPrice Group is seeking an Executive (Retail Systems) for a 1-year contract to drive end-to-end deployment of front-end tech initiatives across our store network.

You will manage system migration, coordinate with IT Project Managers, and oversee UAT, training, and rollout readiness to ensure smooth live operations.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma with relevant experience as required.
• Knowledge in Project Management and UAT is required.
• Retail industry experience is preferred.
• Experience in system migration exercises is preferred.
• Comfortable with change and new technology.
• Able to work under pressure with high adaptability and initiative.

• Proactive and keen to learn new skills.

Responsibilities

• Drive and manage the smooth transition and deployment of front end system related projects.
• Liaise with IT Project Managers to ensure all deliverables are on schedule and elevate critical failure points to management
• Monitor stores’ feedback after rollout and identify key issues for targeted follow up actions/enhancements
• Participate in key cross-functional projects and work with relevant stakeholders to develop
• Project & UAT Support — Coordinate, support and execute User Acceptance Testing, including test scenario development, defect tracking, documentation and business readiness assessment.
• Implementation — Support implementation planning and operational readiness for new solutions, ensuring requirements, risks, procedures and supporting materials are properly prepared and handed over to the relevant stakeholders before deployment.
• Ensure all functionalities and end-to-end UAT are passed with proper documentation being maintained and end users are equipped with user guides and training to facilitate the rollout of new initiatives before deployment to stores
• Continuously look at existing workflows to identify opportunities for improvement
• Ensure smooth rollout and prompt resolution of issues in the live environment
• Oversee daily operational support on all project-related matters for stores and ensure timely response and closure of production issues and feedback
• Ensure training guides are regularly upgraded with relevant functionalities

Job Requirements

• Degree in any discipline, preferably in Business or Business Info Systems. A Diploma with relevant working experience is also welcome.
• Knowledge in Project Management and UAT is required
• Working in retail industry is preferred
• Candidate should be comfortable working with different types of systems and having experience in system migration exercises is preferred.
• Comfortable with change and new technology
