Job summary

Phillip Nova Pte Ltd, a member of PhillipCapital, is seeking an executive in the FX & CFD Business Development Team to grow retail and high-net-worth activity. You will follow up on referred leads, participate in events, network, and implement expansion strategies to enhance client trading experiences.

Job description

As an executive in the FX & CFD Business Development Team, you will participate in the development and expansion of Phillip Nova’ business activities for the retail and high net worth segment. You are required to assist in client acquisition activities by following up on referred leads, events participation, networking and implementing other expansion strategies. You will also assist in the follow up with existing individual clients to provide timely personalized support to meet the clients’ trading needs. In addition, you will be involved in projects which will contribute to the overall development of business and enhancing the customer trading experience.

Responsibilities:

• Develop activities and campaigns to support the sales channels in achieving the Forex/Precious Metals/CFDs active clients and volume targets.
• Work closely with the marketing communication team in raising awareness of our offerings and platforms, identifying key angles to drive lead acquisition
• Build relationships with existing clients to understand the requirements of different segment of clients and increase satisfaction.
• Perform market intelligence and report insights within team to improve overall competitiveness
• Conduct seminars and webinars to drive customer education and increase acquisition
• Contribute to articles, advertorials and media enquiries relating to our OTCD product suite
• Perform regular analysis and reporting of the business development activities
• Ad hoc projects and assignments

Key Requirements:

• Minimum Diploma and above in any discipline
• Well-organised and meticulous
• A team player who is committed and self-driven, with the ability to respond positively to client request for assistance
• Proactive individual who is resourceful to provide alternative solutions for clients
• A keen desire to explore and learn about financial markets
• Strong verbal and written communication for both client and internal communication

Advantageous to have:

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, ability to present and speak in public setting
• Certifications in CMFAS modules RES1A, 2A, 5, CM-EIP and CM-SIP
• Good knowledge of Fundamental and Technical Analysis in the Forex & CFD market
• Candidates with experience in financial services industry
• Trading experience in Forex & CFD market
