Singapore Management University (SMU) invites applications for a Marketing & Communications Specialist within the Institute of Innovation & Entrepreneurship (IIE).

The role supports the development and execution of integrated marketing strategies aligned with institutional objectives and talent development programmes, translating priorities into actionable campaigns with defined timelines, budgets, and KPIs.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Marketing.

  • Proficient in digital communication tools, social media platforms, video editing and AI tools.

Responsibilities

  • Support development and execution of integrated marketing and communications strategies with defined timelines, budgets, and KPIs.
  • Lead end-to-end campaign management across digital, print, and events channels.
  • Assist in annual marketing planning and budget tracking.
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to sharpen messaging.
  • Track and report on marketing performance metrics with data-driven recommendations.
  • Drive digital marketing activities across SEO/SEM, social media, email, and web.
  • Create and optimise digital campaigns from targeting to analysis.
  • Oversee social media presence and brand voice.
  • Manage website analytics and reporting to improve reach and UX.
  • Develop content calendar and produce content across formats.
  • Support storytelling to strengthen SMU IIE visibility.
  • Ensure brand consistency across all marketing touchpoints.
  • Monitor trends to refine messaging.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to align marketing with priorities.
  • Support press releases and media pitches.
  • Prepare spokespeople for interviews and public engagements.
