A prestigious hotel in Singapore is looking for an Events & Social Media Manager to plan and execute hotel events while managing social media presence across various platforms. The ideal candidate will have a degree in a relevant field and at least 3 years of experience in event planning and social media management, preferably in hospitality. This role requires excellent communication skills and a creative mindset, with additional advantages for candidates with graphic design or photography skills.

Qualifications

Overview

EVENTS & SOCIAL MEDIA MANAGER As an Events & Social Media Executive reporting to the Director of Sales & Marketing, your role includes planning and executing hotel events, as well as managing our presence across key social media platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok etc. You will be responsible for promoting events, room and F&B promotions and ensuring ongoing brand awareness even on non-event days.

Responsibilities
  • Event Planning & Execution
    • Plan, coordinate, and execute hotel events including festive celebrations, theme-nights, promotional campaigns etc
    • Liaise with F&B, Front Office, Sales & Marketing to ensure smooth operations during events
    • Coordinate with external vendors and partners as necessary
  • Social Media Management
    • Develop and manage content calendars for all social media platforms
    • Create engaging content such as photos, videos, stories to promote ongoing events, room deals and F&B promotions
    • Monitor social media trends and adjust strategies to increase visibility and engagement
  • Marketing & Promotion
    • Promote room packages, F&B deals, seasonal and special promotions even on non-event days to maintain online presence and brand awareness
    • Analyse the performance of marketing campaigns and prepare reports on engagement and ROI
Requirements
