Job summary

The Ritz-Carlton Marina Bay is seeking a Management-level professional to support the execution of meetings and events and implement the brand service strategy. The role drives client satisfaction, helps grow event revenues, and resolves issues during events, with daily banquet floor walkthroughs to ensure quality standards.

Candidates should have a related degree or equivalent experience in event management, F&B, or sales, and be prepared to coordinate multiple groups and vendor relationships

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 2 years of experience in event management, food & beverage, sales or related area.
• 2-year degree from an accredited university in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related major; 1 year experience in event management, F&B, sales or related area.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing meetings and special events operations.
• Review events and troubleshoot potential challenges/conflicts.
• Coordinate all groups that will impact property operations.
• Oversee cleaning and maintenance of meeting spaces and related areas.
• Oversee furniture and equipment maintenance and inventory to corporate guidelines.
• Assist in executing brand service initiatives in event management.
• Conduct daily walk-through of banquet floor to drive client satisfaction.
