Job summary

SCIENTEC CONSULTING PTE. LTD. is seeking an events operations assistant to support venue planning and on-site logistics for major events in Singapore. The role requires coordinating holding areas, carpark operations, and spectator flow, with duties across planning and execution.

You'll work during office hours with occasional after-hours or weekend shifts, and collaborate with authorities, volunteers, and vendors to deliver smooth event experiences.

Qualifications

• Diploma in related field required.
• 1–2 years of experience in events operations, logistics coordination, or administrative support.
• Willing to work after office hours or weekends when required.

Responsibilities

• Support the planning and coordination of venue and holding area operations for major events, including carpark operations and spectator flow.
• Assist in developing and implementing security and crowd management plans, including barricade layouts and checkpoints.
• Liaise with authorities on security clearance and crowd management requirements during event days.
• Compile and maintain security screening lists and coordinate processing of clearances.
• Coordinate volunteer deployment during rehearsals and event days, including briefings and logistics setup.
• Assist in preparing event visuals, on-site branding, structures, and route maps for wayfinding.
• Manage packing, movement and stock-taking of logistics items such as water, ponchos, tables, chairs, props and other materials.
• Provide administrative support, including scheduling meetings, taking minutes, and following up on actions.
