Job summary

Volt Auto Venture Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking experienced and proactive Workshop Operations team members to help build and grow a new brand. You will be involved in startup, transition, and ongoing operations, setting up the workshop, learning OEM systems, and preparing for the product launch.

You will perform mechanical and electrical diagnostics and repairs to high standards, maintain clear repair records, and work with the Aftersales Lead to ensure safety, quality, and efficient

Qualifications

• NITEC/NTC3 certification with NESS equivalent preferred.
• Minimum 3 years hands-on automotive experience.
• Valid Class 3 Singapore driving licence preferred.
• Proficiency in English and Chinese (reading, writing, speaking).
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Set up the workshop with Aftersales Lead, ensuring a safe, efficient workspace.
• Familiarise with vehicle functions, OEM systems in preparation for launch.
• Perform mechanical & electrical diagnostics, repairs and maintenance to standards.
• Ensure quality throughput while maintaining efficiency.
• Maintain clear repair records and complete job orders/checklists.
• Report unsafe conditions and suggest improvements to Aftersales Lead.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by Management.

Position Overview:

We are seeking experienced and proactive Workshop Operations team members who are excited by the opportunity to build and grow a new automotive brand from the ground up in Singapore. This role offers a unique opportunity to be involved across three key phases (Startup, Transition, and Operations), playing an integral role in establishing the workshop, developing operational processes, and supporting the successful launch and ongoing operations of the brand.

Responsibilities:

• Set up the workshop with the brand Aftersales Lead while adhering to the agreed timeline and ensuring a clean, practical, efficient, conducive and safe working environment.

• Familiarise with the vehicles’ functions, operations, features, OEM systems and any other requirements in preparation for full product launch in the near future.

• Performmechanical & electrical diagnostics, repairs and maintenanceon vehicles in accordance with local, international or OEM standards.

• Ensure quality throughput while maintaining efficiency.

• Responsible for materials and parts used, ensuring clear repair records are maintained, supporting test results are provided, and job orders/checklists are completed where necessary.

• Proactively report any unsafe, abnormal conditions, as well as areas for improvement to the Aftersales Lead.

• Any other tasks as per assigned by Management.

Requirements:

• NITEC/NTC3 certificationwith NESS equivalent Certification in Automotive Technology preferred.

• Minimum3 years of hands-on automotive experience, with validClass 3 Singapore driving license preferred.
