Job summary

Charterhouse Asia is seeking an experienced Reliability Engineer to define and execute EUC reliability across APAC. You will build end-to-end observability, establish SLIs/SLOs, and lead dashboards and proactive monitoring to improve operations.

The role emphasizes automation, incident management, and regulatory awareness, with mentoring responsibilities for regional SRE engineers and collaboration with business stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 8–12 years of experience in SRE, Infra, EUC, or IT Operations.
• Automation and scripting with PowerShell, Python, Graph API, Terraform, Ansible.
• Defining and managing SLOs, SLIs, KPIs, error budgets, monitoring and reporting.
• Knowledge of Microsoft 365, Intune, Windows 10/11, iOS device mgmt, modern workplace tech.
• Observability/DEX platforms such as Nexthink, 1E, Lakeside, or equivalents.
• Background in incident and problem management, RCA, automation-led improvement.
• Experience integrating EUC with ITSM (ServiceNow).
• Banking/regulatory domain knowledge preferred; MAS TRM knowledge advantageous.
• Certifications: M365/Azure, ITIL, Terraform, Ansible, or related automation certs.

Responsibilities

• Define and implement the reliability strategy for EUC services across APAC with SLIs and SLOs.
• Build end-to-end observability using Intune, Graph API, and DEX platforms; establish dashboards.
• Lead monitoring, proactive alerting, and service health reporting to drive decisions.
• Analyse performance and user metrics to identify improvement opportunities.
• Develop and operationalise SLOs, KPIs, and error budgets for continuous improvement.
• Drive reliability reviews, dashboards, and management reporting with remediation recommendations.
• Lead automation to reduce workload; develop self-healing solutions using PowerShell, Python, Terraform, Ansible.
• Guide incident/problem management, RCA and preventive engineering for resilience.
• Evolve EUC SRE operating model; mentor regional engineers and champions.
