Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering.
• 5-8 years of semiconductor wafer fabrication experience.

We are seeking an experienced Etch Process Engineer to lead the development, optimization, and sustainment of advanced dry etch processes in a wafer fabrication environment. This role will drive process performance, yield improvement, and manufacturing excellence while collaborating closely with integration, equipment, and technology teams. You will also serve as a technical expert, providing mentorship and leading continuous improvement initiatives for advanced semiconductor process technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, optimize, and sustain advanced etch processes to achieve performance, yield, and quality targets.
• Create and optimize process recipes, monitor tool performance, and improve process stability.
• Analyze process data, troubleshoot complex technical issues, and implement corrective actions.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, yield, and manufacturing efficiency.
• Establish and maintain process documentation, including SOPs, FMEA, and process control methodologies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, equipment suppliers, and technology partners to support new process development.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership within the etch engineering team.

Ideal Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical, Electronics, Chemical, Mechanical, Materials Science, or a related Engineering discipline.
• 5-8 years of semiconductor wafer fabrication experience with strong expertise in dry etch process engineering.
• Hands-on experience with process optimization, troubleshooting, SPC, DOE, and FMEA methodologies.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Proven ability to work independently while leading cross-functional technical initiatives.
• Experience mentoring engineers and driving continuous process improvement is highly preferred.
