Job summary

SSMC (Systems on Silicon Manufacturing Company Pte. Ltd.) is seeking an Associate Engineer to join the Etch department, bringing fresh energy to a diverse team focused on sustaining and improving process capability in our semiconductor fabrication environment.

Candidates with an Electrical/Electronics/Mechatronics/Mechanical/Microelectronics/ Chemical Process Diploma are welcome, including those without experience.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Electrical/Electronics/Mechatronics/Mechanical/Microelectronics/Chemical Process Technology or equivalent preferred.
• Candidates without experience are welcome to apply.
• Basic engineering knowledge related to semiconductor devices, electronics, and process equipment.
• Good team player.
• Good problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist engineers to develop, sustain and improve process capability indices to meet operations goals.
• Perform shift duties to support running of Production in the module and ensure process integrity for machines.
• Assist engineers in the qualification and fine tuning of processes for production.
• Trouble-shoot process related issues and minimize the time lots on hold.
• Create job-files for metrology tools for production set-up and housekeeping of files.
• Monitor and improve on the qualified process using SPC and other statistical tools.
• Assist in implementing process improvement projects.
• Maintain a good audit system for ISO requirements, internal and QA audit on process documentation.
• Participate in continuous improvement programs to improve productivity and output quality of the module.

More About You:
