Job summary

SSMC is seeking a Process Engineer for the Etch team to manage the integration of all module processes and drive development projects. You will support process transfer initiatives to sustain competitive yields and reliability in a cutting-edge fabrication environment.

Responsibilities include optimization for yield and productivity, troubleshooting process issues, maintaining CpK, and qualifying tools for capacity and cost efficiency. Strong communication and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in engineering or equivalent required.
• 1–3 years in semiconductor manufacturing is preferred.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Lead/process integration for all modules' processes.
• Optimize yield and productivity through process improvement.
• Troubleshoot process-related issues in Etch.
• Maintain and monitor CpK and process capability.
• Qualify tools for manufacturing capacity and cost efficiency.
• Plan and execute engineering projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Document procedures and ensure compliance with standards.

We’re searching for a Process Engineer to be part of our Etch diverse team of talent. You will be responsible to manage the integration of all modules' processes and the respective derivatives.

What you will be working on:

• Responsible for new Process Development and/or Process Transfer
• Process optimization for Yield and Productivity improvement
• Troubleshoot and resolve Process related issues
• Sustain and/or improve Process Capability, CpK
• Qualify and release tools for required MFG capacity
• Qualify alternate sources for Cost improvement
• Plan and execute Engineering Projects
• Continuous improvement through participation in 10k idea, LSS & BKM to create cost effective and robust processes with quality.
• Setup, monitor and maintain SPC charts
• Adhere and complete necessary documentation

More about you:

• Bachelor Degree in Engineering or equivalent
• 1-3 years relevant experience in Semiconductor manufacturing environment
• Basic engineering knowledge, which may include semiconductor devices theory, electronics, digital principle and wafer fabrication processes
• Fresh graduates are welcomed to apply, training will be provided
