Job summary

HR FOCUS in Singapore is seeking an enthusiastic Estimator / Quantity Surveyor to join our Fire Protection & M&E team. The role offers a stable 5-day work week and a collaborative environment.

You will prepare BOQs, source quotations, perform detailed cost breakdowns, and manage tender submissions. Collaboration with vendors and internal teams is essential to build competitive proposals.

Qualifications

• ITE or Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Building Services, or related field.
• 1–5 years in estimation, QS, or tender preparation (M&E or Fire Protection background is a strong advantage).
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and e-Tendering portals.
• Sharp analytical eye, high attention to detail, and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Tender & Bid Preparation: Prepare project plans, documentation, and Bills of Quantities (BOQ).
• Vendor & Sourcing Management: Source, compile, and evaluate supplier quotations against project specs.
• Cost Estimation: Conduct detailed material & labor cost breakdowns for M&E and Fire Protection tenders.
• End-to-End Submission: Manage pricing schedules, non-material requirements, and final tender submissions.
• Cross-Team Collaboration: Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and internal engineering teams to build competitive proposals.
