SINGAPORE SHIP INDUSTRY & TRADING PTE. LTD. is seeking an ETF Trader with a strong passion for financial markets to join our fast-growing proprietary trading team in Singapore. You will monitor market activity, share insights in real time, and contribute ideas using proprietary tools and research platforms.

The role emphasizes coding with Python/C++, Bloomberg familiarity, and the ability to perform under pressure while collaborating with a driven team.

Qualifications

Minimum 3 years of ETF trading experience in prop firms, hedge funds, or financial institutions.
Bachelor's degree or above in Finance, Economics, CS, Engineering or related field.
Strong understanding of China's & HK markets, instruments, trading strategies, and risk management.
Analytical and problem-solving skills; able to perform under pressure.
Experience with Bloomberg or similar tools is a plus.
Coding proficiency in Python or C++ is highly valued.
Excellent communication and teamwork; fluent in English; Mandarin or Cantonese a bonus.

Responsibilities

Stay on top of market news, and share insights with the team in real time.
Monitor market trends, order flow, and trading activity throughout the day.
Contribute ideas using our proprietary processes and research tools.
Dive into Bloomberg and other platforms to perform fundamental analysis.
Apply coding skills to improve, optimize, and automate trading workflows.
Work closely with like-minded teammates who share the same obsession with the markets.
