Job summary

SINGAPORE SHIP INDUSTRY & TRADING PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks an experienced ETF Trader to join a fast-growing proprietary trading team.

The role focuses on monitoring markets, analyzing trends, and contributing ideas to improve trading workflows. The ideal candidate has 3+ years of ETF trading experience, a strong finance or tech background, and proficiency in Python or C++. Bloomberg experience and fluency in English are desirable.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of ETF trading experience in a prop trading firm, hedge fund, or financial institution.
• Bachelor’s degree or above in Finance, Economics, Computer Science, Engineering or related.
• Deep understanding of China's & HK markets and related instruments.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills under pressure.
• Experience with Bloomberg or similar research tools is a plus.
• Coding proficiency in Python or C++ is valued.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

What we are looking for

• A strong passion for trading and financial markets
• Minimum 3 years of experience as an ETF Trader or in a similar role, preferably within a proprietary trading firm, hedge fund, or financial institution
• Bachelor's degree or above in Finance, Economics, Computer Science, Engineering or related
• In-depth understanding of China's & HK market, financial instruments, trading strategies, and risk management principles.
• Solid analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to perform under pressure.
• Experience with Bloomberg or similar research tools is a plus.
• Coding proficiency (Python, C++ or similar) highly valued.
• Excellent communication skills and a strong sense of teamwork.
• Fluency in English; Mandarin or Cantonese is a bonus.
