Job summary

SINGAPORE SHIP INDUSTRY & TRADING PTE. LTD. is seeking an ETF Trader with a strong passion for financial markets to join our fast-growing proprietary trading team in Singapore. You will monitor market activity, share insights in real time, and contribute ideas using proprietary tools and research platforms.

The role emphasizes coding with Python/C++, Bloomberg familiarity, and the ability to perform under pressure while collaborating with a driven team.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of ETF trading experience in prop firms, hedge funds, or financial institutions.
• Bachelor's degree or above in Finance, Economics, CS, Engineering or related field.
• Strong understanding of China's & HK markets, instruments, trading strategies, and risk management.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills; able to perform under pressure.
• Experience with Bloomberg or similar tools is a plus.
• Coding proficiency in Python or C++ is highly valued.
• Excellent communication and teamwork; fluent in English; Mandarin or Cantonese a bonus.

What we are looking for

• Bachelor's degree or above in Finance, Economics, Computer Science, Engineering or related
• In-depth understanding of China's & HK market, financial instruments, trading strategies, and risk management principles.
• Solid analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to perform under pressure.
• Experience with Bloomberg or similar research tools is a plus.
• Coding proficiency (Python, C++ or similar) highly valued.
• Excellent communication skills and a strong sense of teamwork.
