Job summary

Micron Technology, Inc. in Singapore is seeking a maintenance engineer to troubleshoot electro-mechanical equipment in the semiconductor manufacturing process.

The role involves dismantling, repairing and reassembling equipment according to layouts, blueprints or manuals at the MSB site on Bendemeer Road. The ideal candidate holds a Diploma in Engineering with preference for mechanical/electrical/electronic engineering and prior equipment maintenance experience.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Engineering required.
• Experience with maintenance and troubleshooting preferred.
• Knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing processes preferred.
• Willingness to work 12-hour rotating shifts.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical or mechanical troubleshooting of electro-mechanical equipment used in manufacturing.
• Dismantle, adjust, repair and assemble equipment per drawings/manuals.
• Use test/diagnostic equipment to perform checkouts.
• Rebuild manufacturing equipment as required.
• May perform equipment modifications as directed by engineers.
• Knowledge of AI tools and application.
• Leverage AI proficiency or AI-enabled working methods where applicable.

• Uses test and diagnostic equipment to perform checkouts.

• May perform equipment modifications as directed by engineers.
• Knowledge of AI tools and application.
• Leveraging AI proficiency or AI‑enabled ways of working where applicable.

Job Requirements

• Diploma in Engineering.
• Mechanical/Electrical/Electronic Engineering is preferred.

• Knowledge on semiconductor manufacturing process and technologies is preferred.
• Able to work on 12 hours rotating shift is preferred.
