Job summary

REC is seeking a hands-on Equipment Engineer to support maintenance and continuous improvement at our solar modules production facility in Singapore. You will lead reliability initiatives, drive PM/PDM/TPM programs, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure safe, efficient operations.

The role emphasizes root-cause analysis, equipment optimization, and cost control while ensuring ISO safety, environmental, and quality standards across maintenance activities.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Mechatronics Engineering.
• Entry level candidates are welcome.
• Experience in Solar or Semiconductors manufacturing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of equipment performance and reliability to improve Quality, Uptime, Throughput, Cost and OEE.
• Plan and execute Preventive, Predictive, and TPM activities per schedule.
• Perform advanced troubleshooting and root cause analysis to minimize downtime.
• Prepare incident reports, troubleshooting guides, and best-known methods (BKMs).
• Coordinate cross-functional maintenance and production activities.
• Analyze spare parts usage and drive inventory optimization.
