Job summary

ACHIEVE TECHNOLOGY ASIA PACIFIC PTE LTD in Singapore is seeking an experienced Senior IT Equipment Engineer to lead the equipment engineering support team in semiconductor manufacturing, driving reliability and process stability.

You will plan PM programmes, perform installation, qualification, and upgrades, and lead root cause analyses to improve uptime, yield and cost efficiency. Strong leadership and technical problem-solving skills are required.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Mechanical/Mechatronics or related engineering discipline.
Minimum 5 years of experience in semiconductor equipment engineering or similar high-tech manufacturing environment.
Strong knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing equipment, preventive maintenance, and reliability.

Responsibilities

Lead and supervise the equipment engineering support team to resolve complex equipment and process-related issues.
Plan and implement preventive maintenance programmes to maximise reliability and optimise resources.
Perform equipment installation, commissioning, start-up, qualification, evaluation, maintenance, and upgrades.
Conduct root cause analysis of equipment failures and implement corrective actions to improve reliability and performance.
Lead continuous improvement projects to enhance uptime, OEE, productivity, yield, and cost efficiency.
Train, mentor, and evaluate engineers and technicians on equipment operation, maintenance, and safety.
