Job summary

aristos search llp is seeking an Equipment Manager to lead strategic procurement of equipment. You will steer complex sourcing projects, shape supplier strategies, and drive long-term value creation across engineering, R&D, and operations.

As a senior team member, you will mentor Buyers and influence decisions at all levels, balancing cost, risk, and performance while coordinating with global suppliers and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, or Business; MBA preferred.
• 7–10 years in strategic sourcing or category management, ideally in manufacturing or equipment-heavy industries.
• Experience in cross-functional initiatives and strategic supplier negotiations.
• Advanced negotiation and supplier management skills.
• Strong analytical mindset with TCO, cost modelling, and financial acumen.
• Effective communicator with the ability to influence at all levels.
• Proficiency in MS Office, ERP systems (e.g., SAP/Oracle), and e-sourcing tools.
• Travel: Willingness to travel domestically or internationally (10–20%).
