Job summary

ASMPT SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. is seeking a Procurement Manager to develop and execute procurement strategies that ensure supply continuity, cost competitiveness, and supplier performance.

You will lead sourcing, supplier management, negotiations, risk mitigation, and governance while partnering with cross-functional teams to support business objectives. You will also lead and develop a high-performing procurement team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in SCM, Engineering, or related discipline.
• 6–10 years of procurement/supply chain experience within a manufacturing environment.
• Minimum 3 years of people management experience.
• Proficiency in SAP or ERP systems, Microsoft Excel, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement procurement and category strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Drive sourcing initiatives, supplier consolidation, localization, and cost reduction programs.
• Lead supplier selection, qualification, performance management, and development activities.
• Build strategic supplier partnerships to improve quality, delivery, service, and cost performance.
• Manage commercial negotiations, contracts, and supplier agreements.
• Ensure continuity of supply through proactive risk identification and mitigation.
• Develop contingency plans for critical materials, suppliers, and capacity constraints.
• Lead escalation management for supply disruptions and supplier-related issues.
• Partner with Planning and Operations teams to optimize inventory, material availability, and working capital.
• Monitor procurement KPIs and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Support NPI activities, supplier readiness, and capacity planning.
• Lead, coach, and develop the procurement team to achieve business objectives.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality, Logistics, Finance, and external suppliers.
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies, governance requirements, and ethical sourcing standards
