Job summary

Ocean Network Express in Singapore is seeking a detail-oriented Equipment Control Executive to join our team. You will manage D&D reconciliation, monitor container utilisation, ensure accurate records, and support data reporting and cost optimisation for efficient equipment operations.

The role requires a Diploma in Maritime Studies and a minimum of 2 years in a similar role; IICL knowledge is an advantage. Proficiency in MS Office and Google Suite is essential for daily tasks.

Qualifications

• Must have a Diploma in Maritime Studies or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience preferred.
• Knowledge of IICL standards and cargo-worthy inspection is an advantage.
• Highly organized with strong time management to handle multiple tasks.
• Proficient in MS Office and Google Suite applications.

Responsibilities

• Reconcile Demurrage & Detention (D&D) charges to ensure billing accuracy.
• Monitor and reduce long-stay empty containers to optimise asset utilisation.
• Maintain accurate container movement records in OPUS.
• Assist in verifying depot invoices for accuracy and compliance.
• Support Equipment Control workflows for tracking and utilisation of container assets.
• Extract, reconcile, and visualise operational data for reporting and analysis.
• Carry out ad-hoc operational tasks to support daily business needs.
• Identify cost‑saving opportunities through analytical insights.
• Assist in any other assigned ad‑hoc duties.
