Job summary

KBR is seeking a Mechanical Engineer in Singapore to review design and selection of specialty rotating equipment on EPC projects, including process gas compressors and sea water pumps. The role requires a degree in Mechanical Engineering, at least 2 years of EPC experience with international clients, and offshore project exposure is preferred.

Strong coordination and English communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant EPC project experience with international clients.
• offshore project experience preferred (Well Head, FPSO).
• Familiar with international industry codes such as ASME, API.

Responsibilities

• Review design and selection of specialty rotating equipment on EPC projects.
• Prepare technical specifications and data sheets for rotating equipment and packages.
• Coordinate work with inter-disciplines, client and suppliers.
• Review technical evaluation of bids; prepare technical bid tabulation reports.
• Perform vendor document and design reviews for specialty rotating equipment and packages.
