Job summary

KBR, Inc. is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to support EPC projects including Process Gas Compressors and Sea Water Injection Pumps. The role emphasizes design review, equipment selection, and data sheet preparation.

The candidate should have a Mechanical Engineering degree, at least 2 years of EPC experience, offshore exposure is preferred, and good knowledge of ASME/API codes with strong coordination and English communication skills.

• Select rotating equipment on EPC projects ensuring compliance with API codes and Client specifications.
• Prepare technical specifications and data sheets for rotating equipment (centrifugal and screw compressors, pumps).
• Coordinate work with inter-disciplines, clients and suppliers.
• Review bids and compile technical bid tabulations with suppliers and clients.
• Perform vendor document and design reviews for rotating equipment and packages.

Job Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience working on EPC projects with reputed international clients
• Offshore Project experience (Well Head, Fixed Platforms and FPSO) is preferred.
• Shall be well conversant with International Industry Codes such as ASME, API etc.
• Should possess coordination / communication skills and very good knowledge of spoken and written English language.
