Job summary

Gammon Construction Limited is actively seeking a skilled Environmental Control Officer to lead environmental health and safety efforts on Singapore construction sites. You will address noise, air, water and waste concerns, and manage haze response procedures alongside project teams.

The role requires NEA and IES-registered credentials, at least 3 years of construction EHS experience, and a strong, proactive mindset.

Qualifications

Registered Environmental Control Officer with NEA.
Registered Earth Control Measures Officer with IES.
Advanced Certificate in Workplace Safety Health or Coordinator Certificate.
At least 3 years’ experience as Environmental Control Officer in the construction industry.
Excellent team player with good interpersonal skills and a can-do attitude.
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

Work closely with the project team on environmental issues (noise, pollution, drainage, etc.) and haze response procedures.
Implement and monitor environmental, health and safety management systems at worksites.
Prepare, submit statutory reports and maintain documentation for environmental public health requirements.
Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with NEA and EHS regulations.
Liaise with NEA, PUB and relevant authorities on environmental issues.
Support in-house environmental initiatives.
