Job summary

BAN CHON CORPORATION & TRADING PTE LTD in Singapore is seeking an Environmental Control Officer to ensure compliance with NEA and EHS regulations at construction sites. You will implement environmental health and safety measures and coordinate with project teams and authorities.

The role requires NEA registration as ECO, IES EC Officer, and at least 3 years in construction. Strong teamwork, proactive attitude and multitasking ability are essential.

Qualifications

• Registered Environmental Control Officer with NEA.
• Registered Earth Control Measures Officer with IES.
• Advanced Certificate in Workplace Safety Health or Coordinator Certificate.
• At least 3 years' experience as Environmental Control Officer in the construction industry.
• Excellent teamwork, interpersonal skills and a positive attitude.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Work with project team and WSHO on environmental issues such as noise, air and water pollution, waste management and drainage.
• Implement and monitor environmental, health and safety management systems at worksites.
• Prepare and submit statutory reports and maintain documentation for environmental public health requirements.
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with NEA and EHS regulations.
• Liaise with NEA, PUB and authorities on environmental issues.
• Support in-house environmental initiatives.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Work closely with the project team & WSHO on environmental issues such as noise pollution, vector control, air pollution, water pollution and drainage, prevention & control of infectious diseases, food hygiene, solid waste management, chemical storage & disposal and haze response procedure
• Implement and monitor environmental, health and safety management systems at worksites
• Prepare, submit statutory reports and maintain documentation for environmental public health requirements on environmental issues
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure that site activities are carried out in compliance with NEA and EHS regulations
• Liaise with NEA, PUB and relevant authorities on all environmental issues
• Support in-house environmental initiatives

Requirements
