Job summary

OAKTREE CONSULTING is seeking a Service Engineer to install, service, and upgrade semiconductor equipment at customer sites in Singapore. You will diagnose faults, perform repairs and preventive maintenance, and assist with advanced tasks under Senior Engineers.

Strong communication and documentation skills are essential. The role requires a Diploma in Electronics, Electrical or Microelectronics Engineering and hands-on capability with machines, with fresh graduates welcomed and full training

Qualifications

• Diploma in Electronics, Electrical or Microelectronics Engineering.
• Hands-on ability in machine setup, installation, modification, servicing and repair.
• Strong troubleshooting and fault-finding skills.
• Good communication, documentation and customer service skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Install, service and upgrade equipment at customer fabs.
• Diagnose equipment faults and carry out repairs, adjustments and preventive maintenance.
• Perform electro-mechanical troubleshooting on complex wafer processing systems.
• Interpret system parameters and equipment interactions to support process development.
• Handle specialised jigs and tools during service jobs.
• Assist Senior Engineers with advanced tasks such as robot teaching and sub-unit servicing.
• Prepare technical service reports and maintenance documentation.
• Attend weekly team meetings and deliver technical presentations.
• Work closely with customers and internal teams to meet service expectations.
