Job summary

Tong Hai Yang Construction Pte Ltd is seeking a diligent Cost Estimator/Quantity Surveyor to support budgeting, tender preparation, progress claims and site coordination across projects. You will help develop pre-contract cost estimates, manage cash-flow forecasts and ensure timely project delivery.

Responsibilities include preparing tender submissions, updating monthly cost monitoring, valuing progress claims and liaising with subcontractors and consultants.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Building, or equivalent qualification
• 1-2 years of relevant working experience in the construction sector
• Entry level are welcome to apply

Responsibilities

• Calculate quantities and source subcontractors for tender submissions.
• Develop pre-contract cost estimates and project cash-flow forecasts.
• Prepare progress claims, progress reports, and update monthly cost monitoring.
• Manage project administration and documentation, including valuation of progress claims, variations, and final accounts.
• Conduct site measurements and participate in site meetings to ensure accurate project tracking and communication.
• Manage and communicate effectively with subcontractors and consultants to facilitate project coordination.
• Utilize basic computer skills in MS Office and AutoCAD to support project documentation and reporting.
• Perform ad hoc duties as assigned to support project and team needs
