Job summary

HG Works Pte Ltd is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to support our construction operations. You will handle cost estimation, budgeting, tender preparation, contract administration, and cost control across diverse projects.

Reporting to the Contracts Manager, you will manage subcontractor quotations, procurement, and progress claims while ensuring rigorous cost controls are in place. The role requires site measurements, documentation, and collaboration with project teams and suppliers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Strong analytical, negotiation, and cost control skills are required.
• Experience with contract administration (e.g., SIA, PSSCOC) and cost management is a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and related QS software is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Reporting to the Contracts Manager.
• Assist in preparing cost estimates, budgets, and tender submissions.
• Evaluate and manage subcontractor quotations, procurement, and cost control.
• Prepare progress claims, payment certifications, and final accounts.
• Monitor project expenditures, track variations, and ensure cost control measures are in place.
• Assist the contracts manager in all related work.
• Coordinate with project teams, subcontractors, and suppliers for procurement and material selection.
• Conduct site measurements and valuations and maintain proper documentation of all contract-related matters.
