ORCHID ENTERTAINMENT PTE. LTD. seeks an Entertainment Supervisor to oversee daily stage operations, performer management, and live entertainment schedules at our venue. You will serve as a central liaison between talent, backstage crews, and management to ensure punctual performances and strict safety standards.

You will direct rehearsals and backstage management, call cues, manage props and costumes, coordinate with sound, lighting, and AV teams, and produce daily show reports.

Qualifications

  • Proven supervisory or coordination experience in live entertainment, stage production, nightlife, performing arts, or events.
  • Strong knowledge of stagecraft, performer cueing, audio-visual coordination, and backstage logistics.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multi-disciplinary teams and resolve operational issues in high-tempo environments.
  • Excellent verbal communication, interpersonal, and team-scheduling abilities.
  • Flexibility to work shift hours, including late nights, weekends, and public holidays, aligned with venue show timetables.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and manage duty rosters, scheduling performer rotations, call times, and breaks.
  • Conduct pre-show briefings to communicate schedules, cue adjustments, and venue regulations.
  • Monitor attendance, punctuality, and presentation standards, and provide feedback.
  • Coordinate stage, venue, and front-of-house handovers to start shows on schedule.
  • Direct backstage operations, ensuring green rooms, wings, and quick-change areas are orderly and secure.
  • Coordinate with sound, lighting, and AV technicians to ensure cue precision and technical reliability.
  • Manage master production schedules and contingency procedures during live stage emergencies.
  • Prepare and submit daily show reports detailing attendance, issues, and show timings.
  • Assist in talent auditions, onboarding, and compliance with health and safety regulations.

Role Overview

The Entertainment Supervisor oversees day-to-day stage operations, performer management, and live entertainment schedules. This role acts as a crucial operational link between talent, backstage crews, and management to deliver high-quality, punctual performances while upholding strict venue safety and operational standards.

Key Duties & Responsibilities
Performer Supervision & Stage Operations

Supervise performers, entertainers, and support crew during daily rehearsals, stage calls, and live shows.

Prepare and manage duty rosters, scheduling performer rotations, call times, and break periods.

Conduct pre-show briefings to communicate show schedules, cue adjustments, and venue regulations.

Monitor attendance, punctuality, and presentation standards, conducting performance appraisals and providing immediate constructive feedback.

Coordinate stage, venue, and front-of-house handover to ensure all shows start strictly on schedule.

Rehearsal & Backstage Management

Direct backstage operations, ensuring green rooms, stage wings, and quick-change areas are orderly and secure.

Control and call performer cues, managing seamless stage entrances, exits, and scene transitions.

Oversee the inventory, preparation, and safe handling of stage props, instruments, and costumes.

Coordinate with sound, lighting, and audio-visual technicians to ensure cue precision and technical reliability.

Manage master production schedules and implement contingency procedures during live stage emergencies.

Reporting & Administration

Serve as the main operational liaison between stage personnel and the Entertainment Manager.

Prepare and submit daily show reports detailing attendance, technical issues, crowd feedback, and show timings.

Assist in talent auditions, onboarding, and compliance with venue health, safety, and operational regulations.

Requirements

Proven supervisory or coordination experience in live entertainment, stage production, nightlife, performing arts, or events.

Strong working knowledge of stagecraft, performer cueing, audio-visual coordination, and backstage logistics.

Demonstrated ability to manage multi-disciplinary teams and resolve operational issues in high-tempo environments.

Excellent verbal communication, interpersonal, and team-scheduling abilities.
