Job summary

Epergne Solutions Pte. Ltd. in Singapore is seeking a Lead UI Architect to drive frontend and backend innovation for enterprise applications.

You will lead UI architecture, define standards, and mentor teams while collaborating with cross-functional groups to deliver scalable, secure, and maintainable solutions. You will architect backend services with Java, Spring Boot, Quarkus, and microservices, while guiding modernization efforts like Micro Frontends.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of overall software development experience.
• 5+ years in leadership roles such as Technical Lead or Solution Architect.
• Proven experience delivering enterprise-scale applications and leading technical design.
• Strong hands-on expertise in frontend and Java backend technologies.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.

Responsibilities

• Define and implement UI architecture, frontend standards, reusable components, and best development practices.
• Design and develop responsive enterprise web applications using React, TypeScript, Java, and related tech.
• Architect and develop scalable backend solutions with Java, Spring Boot, Quarkus, REST APIs, and microservices.
• Lead modernization efforts including Micro Frontends and cloud-native architecture.
• Ensure security, performance, scalability, accessibility, and reliability through design and testing.
• Design and optimize data models and data access layers for relational and NoSQL databases.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, UX teams, and stakeholders to translate requirements into solutions.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to development teams.
• Conduct code/design reviews and technical assessments.
• Support DevOps practices including CI/CD pipelines, cloud deployments, and production support.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies to align development with business goals.
• Identify technical risks and drive continuous improvement.
