Epergne Solutions Pte. Ltd. in Singapore is seeking a Lead UI Architect to drive frontend and backend innovation for enterprise applications.

You will lead UI architecture, define standards, and mentor teams while collaborating with cross-functional groups to deliver scalable, secure, and maintainable solutions. You will architect backend services with Java, Spring Boot, Quarkus, and microservices, while guiding modernization efforts like Micro Frontends.

• 10+ years of overall software development experience.
• 5+ years in leadership roles such as Technical Lead or Solution Architect.
• Proven experience delivering enterprise-scale applications and leading technical design.
• Strong hands-on expertise in frontend and Java backend technologies.

Lead UI architecture and development for enterprise applications, driving frontend and backend innovation.

Collaborate cross-functionally to deliver scalable, secure, and maintainable solutions while mentoring teams and supporting DevOps and Agile processes.

Responsibilities

• Define and implement UI architecture, frontend standards, reusable components, and best development practices to ensure consistency and quality.
• Design and develop responsive enterprise web applications using React, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5/CSS3, and Lit/Web Components to enhance user experience.
• Architect and develop scalable backend solutions with Java, Spring Boot, Quarkus, REST APIs, and Microservices to support robust application functionality.
• Lead application modernization efforts including Micro Frontends, API transformation, and cloud-native architecture to improve system agility and performance.
• Ensure applications meet high standards of security, performance, scalability, accessibility, maintainability, and reliability through rigorous design and testing.
• Design and optimize data models, database schemas, queries, and data access layers for relational and NoSQL databases to improve data efficiency and integrity.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, UX teams, Enterprise Architects, developers, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into effective technical solutions.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to development teams, fostering engineering excellence and continuous skill development.
• Conduct code reviews, design reviews, and technical assessments to maintain high-quality deliverables and adherence to standards.
• Support DevOps practices including CI/CD pipelines, cloud deployments, release management, and production support to ensure smooth delivery and operations.
• Participate actively in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, solution design, estimation, and release planning to align development with business goals.
• Identify technical risks and drive continuous improvements in architecture, development processes, and application performance to enhance product quality.

Required competencies and certifications

• 10+ years of overall software development experience.
• 5+ years in leadership roles such as Technical Lead, UI Lead, UI Architect, Full Stack Lead, or Solution Architect.
• Proven experience delivering enterprise-scale applications and leading technical design and development initiatives.
• Strong hands‑on expertise in both frontend and Java backend technologies.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
