Job summary

Cornerstone Global Partners is seeking a UI Development Lead / UI Architect with strong Java Full Stack expertise to design, develop, and modernize enterprise web applications.

You will provide hands-on technical leadership, define UI architecture, mentor teams, and drive modern frontend/backend initiatives across cloud deployments and secure, scalable solutions.

Qualifications

• Relevant experience in software development with leadership or full-stack engineering.
• Proven track record delivering enterprise-scale applications.
• Knowledge of modern frontend technologies alongside Java-based backend development.
• Experience in Banking/Financial Services domain is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive UI architecture, frontend standards, reusable components, and development best practices.
• Lead application modernization initiatives, including Micro Frontends and API transformation.

• Architect and build scalable backend systems using Java, Spring Boot, Quarkus, REST APIs, and Microservices.

• Mentor development teams, conduct code reviews, and drive engineering best practices.

Job description

We are seeking a UI Development Lead / UI Architect with strong Java Full Stack expertise to lead the design, development, and modernization of enterprise web applications. The role involves hands-on technical leadership, solution architecture, team mentoring, and delivery of scalable, secure, and high-performance digital solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• UI & Architecture: Define and drive UI architecture, frontend standards, reusable components, and development best practices. Lead application modernization initiatives, including Micro Frontends and API transformation.

• Frontend Development: Design and develop responsive web applications using React, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5/CSS3, and Lit/Web Components.

• Backend Development: Architect and build scalable backend systems using Java, Spring Boot, Quarkus, REST APIs, and Microservices.

• Data Management: Design and optimize data models, database schemas, and queries across relational and NoSQL databases.

• Security & Quality: Ensure application security, performance, scalability, accessibility, and maintainability.

• Collaboration & Leadership: Collaborate with Product Owners, UX teams, Architects, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions. Mentor development teams, conduct code reviews, and drive engineering best practices.

• DevOps & Delivery: Support DevOps practices, CI/CD implementation, cloud deployments, and production support. Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, solution design, and release management.

Professional Experience & Qualifications

• Relevant experience in software development, with experience in technical leadership, UI architecture, or full-stack engineering.

• Proven track record of delivering enterprise-scale applications.

• Practical knowledge of modern frontend technologies alongside Java-based backend development.

• Experience in Banking/Financial Services domain is preferred.
