Job summary

ARCTIVA PARTNERS PTE. LTD. is seeking an Enterprise Risk Director for a newly created leadership role in Singapore.

You will build the risk function from the ground up, establishing governance, risk management and internal controls across the energy and renewables portfolio. You will report directly to the C-suite and lead a team to implement COSO-aligned frameworks, risk registers, control matrices, and ongoing remediation with internal and external auditors.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in Enterprise Risk Management, Internal Controls, Internal Audit or Risk Advisory.
• Strong oil & gas, energy or renewable energy sector experience with understanding of operational and commercial risks.
• Hands-on COSO, enterprise risk registers, Risk-Control Matrices (RCMs) and control framework design.
• Experience with SAP/Oracle ERP, segregation of duties, IT General Controls and audit remediation.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain the Group's enterprise risk register, identifying key risks across operations, trading, production, projects, HSE, regulatory compliance and finance.
• Develop and enhance the internal control framework in line with COSO, including Risk-Control Matrices, policies and procedures.
• Design and implement effective business process controls, monitor control gaps and drive timely remediation of audit findings.
• Oversee segregation of duties, ERP access controls and continuous control monitoring, including Key Control Indicators (KCIs) and dashboards.
• Partner with business units, IT and internal/external auditors to strengthen governance, promote control awareness and maintain audit readiness.

This is a newly created leadership opportunity reporting directly to the C suites, with the mandate to build the company's risk and internal control framework from the ground up. Our client is a leading Energy and Renewables firm and we are looking for a seasoned Risk professional to build the Risk function
