Job summary

M organ McKinley is partnering with a client to hire an experienced risk professional who can act as a strategic business partner, strengthening enterprise-wide risk governance across a complex environment in Singapore.

You will lead the risk and compliance function, collaborate with senior leaders on decisions, oversee BCM and operational resilience, and embed a proactive risk culture that balances growth with regulatory assurance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years in enterprise risk management and compliance.
• Experience leading risk and compliance in large, complex organisations.
• Strong knowledge of ERM frameworks, governance, BCM.
• Ability to engage senior leaders and balance risk with business needs.
• Experience in regulated industries like telecom or tech is a plus.
• Strong strategic thinking and people leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the enterprise risk management and compliance function, ensuring effective risk identification, assessment and mitigation.
• Partner closely with senior business leaders to provide strategic risk advisory on business decisions, investments and transformation initiatives.
• Strengthen risk governance frameworks, internal controls and compliance oversight across the organisation.
• Oversee Business Continuity Management, risk assurance and operational resilience initiatives.
• Identify emerging risks across regulatory, operational, technology and cybersecurity environments.
• Lead and develop a high-performing risk and compliance team while driving continuous improvement across the function.

What We're Looking For:

• Min.10 years of relevant experience across Enterprise Risk Management, governance, internal controls and compliance.
• Proven leadership experience managing risk and compliance functions within large, complex organisations.
• Strong understanding of ERM frameworks, risk governance, compliance assurance and BCM.
• Ability to engage and influence senior leadership, balancing commercial priorities with effective risk management.
• Exposure to telecommunications, technology or other highly regulated industries would be advantageous.
• Strong strategic thinking, stakeholder management and people leadership capabilities.
