Job summary

PERSOL TECH SERVICES PTE. LTD. invites an Engineering Technician to join a multinational tech environment in Singapore. The role covers test program evaluation, root-cause debugging, and generation of clear reports to support product qualification and process improvements.

You will interface with manufacturing and engineering teams to ensure smooth execution of engineering activities, with flexibility for staggered shifts as required by business needs.

Qualifications

• Diploma or equivalent in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical or Mechatronic Engineering.
• NITEC with minimum 3 years of relevant experience in engineering environment.
• Basic knowledge of electronics and semiconductors.
• Understanding of semiconductor testing and manufacturing operations.

Responsibilities

• Execute evaluation for test programs or product qualification activities.
• Debug to root cause and resolve equipment related issues.
• Document test results and generate reports timely.
• Liaise with manufacturing sites and planners to ensure flawless execution.
• Submit documents to engineering lab for execution.
• Participate in process improvement projects to boost efficiency.

Engineering Technician

Duration: 12 months (Renewable)

Location: East

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am-5:30pm

Our client is a renowned multinational technology company specializing in semiconductor and computing solutions. With a strong global presence and a long history of innovation, they develop advanced technologies that power datacenters, gaming platforms, embedded systems, and personal computers worldwide.

Responsibilities:

• Execute evaluation for test program or product qualification activities.
• Provide basic and higher technical level of debug via root cause analysis in resolving equipment related issues
• Document test results and generate results and debug report timely.
• Liaise with manufacturing sites and planners to ensure flawless execution of Engineering Activities.
• Responsible for submitting documents to engineering lab for execution.
• Participate in process improvement projects and drive for efficiency and productivity improvement results.

Requirements:

• Diploma in Electrical / Electronics/ Mechanical / Mechatronic Engineering
• NITEC in Electrical / Electronics/ Mechanical / Mechatronic Engineering with minimum 3 years of relevant experience
• Basic knowledge on Electronics and Semiconductors.
• Understanding of semiconductor testing
• General understanding of manufacturing/operations
• Able to handle multiple tasks & changing priorities in a fast-paced NPI environment
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Good team player, pro-active, self-motivated, Independent, resourceful.
• Computer knowledge (Proficiency in Microsoft Office) and skills in report generation
• Flexible working in staggered shifts as required by business needs
