PERSOL Outsourcing is seeking an Assistant Engineer for a 12-month contract in Woodlands, Singapore. The role involves performing preventive maintenance on semiconductor and FPD production equipment, following guidelines and safety procedures, and passing down PM updates to the next shift.

Ideal candidates have a Higher Nitec or Poly Diploma in Electrical/Electronic/Mechanical/Mechatronics Engineering, with strong communication skills and the ability to work independently in a cleanroom

Assistant Engineer

Our client is a leading global company specializing in semiconductor and flat panel display (FPD) production equipment.

Responsibilities:

• Perform preventive maintenance (PM) work according to guidelines and procedures
• Ensure safe and proper work according to procedures
• Update PM work and pass down to next shift
• Ensure compliance with EHS policy and standards
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Higher Nitec, Poly Diploma in Electrical/Electronic/Mechanical/Mechatronics Engineering or its equivalent
• Some relevant experience with semiconductor equipment knowledge will be a plus
• Strong communication and good interpersonal skills
• Meticulous, organized and resourceful team player
• Highly motivated individual who works independently with minimal supervision
• Work in cleanroom environment
