Flextronics Manufacturing (S) Pte Ltd (Kallang) is seeking a Manufacturing/Test Engineering Technician to assist engineers in setting up new project lines, prepare process instructions, and optimize cycle-time, output and yield on production lines.

The role involves troubleshooting machines, supporting Lean activities and calibration, and performing preventive maintenance. Strong English and PC skills are required, with a Nitec/ITC/NTC qualification in Mechatronics/Chemical/Electrical.

Qualifications

• Requires a Nitec / ITC / NTC in Mechatronics / Chemical / Electrical.
• Good English speaking; PC literacy: Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.
• Strong communication skills and teamwork.

Responsabilités

• Assist Engineers in setting up new project line/cells.
• Set-up all process manufacturing instruction.
• Assist Engineers in establishing process cycle-time, output and yield.
• Assist Engineers in implementing engineering changes on production line.
• Machine breakdown troubleshooting.
• Support Lean activities.
• Support Machine/Equipment calibration.
• Maintain tooling, jigs, machines and fixtures; conduct preventive maintenance and repair as required.

Manufacturing/Test Engineering Technician

· Assist Engineers in setting up new project line/cells.

· Set-up all process manufacturing instruction.

· Assist Engineers in establishing process cycle-time, output and yield.

· Assist Engineers in implementing engineering change on production line.

· Machine breakdown troubleshooting

· Support Lean activities

· Support Machine/Equipment calibration

· Maintain Consigned/In-house Tooling, Jig, Machine, Equipment and Fixtures and conduct PM (Preventive Maintenance) and repair support as required.

· Other tasks as and when required and directed by Engineer.

· Contribute to the workplace safety and health improvement for the employees, as well as environmental protection, by adhering to the company’s Environmental, Health and Safety policies and procedures, and helping to achieve EHS objectives and targets through participation of EHS programs

· Participate and adhere to Corporate Social and Environmental Responsibility (CSER) policy, programs and procedures.

Requirements

• Requires a Nitec / ITC / NTC in Mechatronics / Chemical / Electrical

• Technical knowledge of Test Trouble-shooting and / or System box build Assembly English speaking - other languages desirable PC Literate: Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.

• Good technical and commercial communication skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Good team player

• Equipment knowledge Such as Computer, Optical Device, Hi-pot tester, Soldering equipment, Functional tester, electronic measuring instrument. etc) and other machine.
