Job summary

Skyworks Solutions, Inc. in Singapore seeks a hands-on technician to solder DUTs onto PCBs with matching components for HTOL samples, and load/unload HTOL EVBs into chambers while ensuring the correct frequency and power levels.

You will assist with data consolidation, failure inspection results, and support engineers in product qualification and reliability evaluations, while maintaining strict safety, quality, and test procedures.

Qualifications

• 3+ years semiconductor/wafer fab experience or equivalent.
• Knowledge in processes, equipment, automation, quality.
• Strong problem solving and analytical abilities.
• Willing to work in a cleanroom environment and on permanent day shift.

Responsibilities

• Soldering of DUTs onto PCBs with matching components for HTOL samples preparation.
• Loading/unloading of HTOL EVBs into HTOL chambers with correct frequency and power levels.
• Electrical measurement pre/post for reliability tests (HAST, HTS, TC).
• First level failure analysis after stress tests including high power/IR inspection.
• Consolidate and prepare pre/post test data and failure inspection results for engineers.
• Support engineers in product qualification and reliability evaluations.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and test procedures.
• Execute failure analysis on modules/components from customer returns or production requests.

Job Responsibilities

• Soldering of DUTs onto PCBs with matching components for HTOL samples preparation
• Loading/unloading of HTOL EVBs into HTOL chambers, ensure correct frequency and power level based on test condition
• Electrical measurement pre and post for reliability test items like HAST, HTS and TC
• First level analysis for failures induced post stress test which include inspection under high power/IR scope
• Consolidate and prepare pre and post test data, failure inspection results to engineers for next level analysis
• Support engineers in product qualification and reliability evaluations.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and test procedures.
• Execution of Failure Analysis on modules and/or components from customer returns, reliability, and in-house production requests.

Job Requirements

• Higher NITEC or Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics/Mechatronics Engineering) or equivalent.
• At least 3 years working experience in semiconductor/wafer fab manufacturing industry with technical expertise in either Photolithography / Sputtering / Plating / Dry & Wet Etching / Laser Marking / Back grinding or Dicing.
• Possess relevant knowledge in the area of expertise: Process/ Equipment/ Automation/ Quality
• Candidate must possess strong problem solving & analytical skills
• Willing to work in cleanroom environment and on permanent day shift
