Job summary

Skyworks Solutions, Inc. is seeking a engineer to own Final Inspection (FI) testing of wafers and drive improvements in quality, yield, and reliability. You will establish SOPs, WI, and OCAP while leading cost-reduction projects and optimizing testing operations.

The role requires a mechanical/electrical/electronics engineering background, plus experience in semiconductor testing, strong leadership, and data analysis skills. On-site Singapore-based position with collaboration across global teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics or any other engineering discipline.
• Preferably 3 years of experience in testing in semiconductor manufacturing.
• Experience with Accretech FP2000 and/or Keysight Network Analyser is advantageous.
• Strong leadership, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Positive attitude and sense of urgency.
• Meticulous, detail-oriented and organized.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and data analysis tools (e.g., JMP).

Responsibilities

• Responsible for Final Inspection (FI) process – RF/DC testing of wafer
• Maintaining FI performance and to improve process quality, yield, and reliability
• Creating or maintaining current SOPs, Work Instructions (WI) and OCAP
• Spearheading continuous improvement projects to optimize cost and yield loss
• Establishing work procedures, corrective actions, and preventions
• Analyzing low yield or testing issues and feedback to relevant process
• Providing support to operations team and technicians during non-office hours to resolve testing related issues

Education

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics or any other engineering discipline

Responsibilities

• Responsible for creating or maintaining current Standard Operating Procedure (SOP), Work Instructions (WI) and Out of Control Action Plan (OCAP)
• Spearhead continuous improvement projects to optimize cost and yield loss
• Establish work procedures, corrective actions, and preventions
• Analyse low yield or testing issue and feedback to relevant process
• Provide support to improve operations team and technician skillset
• Provide support to operations team and technician during non-office hours to resolve any testing related issue

Required Experience and Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics or any other engineering discipline
• Preferably 3 years of experience in testing in semiconductor manufacturing
• Experience in working with Accretech FP2000 and/or Keysight Network Analyser will be an added advantage
• Good leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
