Job summary

Far East Organization is recruiting for an Engineering/Facilities Supervisor to oversee maintenance and engineering operations at large-scale properties. You will supervise technicians and contractors, plan shifts, track work orders, and ensure safe, compliant operations across M&E systems and common areas.

The role requires a Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering and at least 4 years in facilities management within hospitality, commercial property, or similar settings.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 4 years of relevant facilities management/engineering experience.
• Strong communication and planning skills.
• Willingness to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Supervise technicians and external contractors to ensure effective execution of engineering and maintenance tasks.
• Plan and manage shift schedules, conduct daily briefings, and ensure proper handover between shifts.
• Assign, track, and monitor work orders, ensuring timely completion of defects and service requests.
• Oversee preventive maintenance programs and routine inspections of M&E systems, equipment, and common areas.
• Respond promptly to M&E emergencies, troubleshoot technical issues, and elevate incidents to management when necessary.
• Manage inventory of engineering tools, equipment, and spare parts, ensuring proper usage and availability.
• Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and service providers to ensure quality and timely delivery of engineering services.
• Identify and implement opportunities to improve operational efficiency, reliability, and sustainability, including energy-saving initiatives and adoption of industry best practices.
• Ensure compliance with building codes, fire safety regulations, and workplace safety standards.
